It's the most imitated sauce around!The ANCHOR BAR has been the favored stop in Buffalo for visiting celebrities and dignitaries, from football and hockey greats, musicians, political giants from the WHITE HOUSE and foreign diplomats. Their autographed pictures adorn the walls of the bar area and dining rooms. In fact, the walls of this cozy jazz cafe and fine Italian restaurant are filled with awards, national comic strips, newspaper articles and proclaimations about the famous ANCHOR BAR wings.Having lived in the Buffalo area (Lackawanna, the home of football's Ron Jawarski and Mike Mamula, actually) for 3 years, the ANCHOR BAR was one of my favorite stops.
